“Our Mazda Drive for Good program started in 2013, as a way to unify Mazda owners, dealerships and employees around causes that are important to them,” said Masahiro Moro, president and CEO of MNAO. “What started as a winter charity event evolved into a true way-of-life for many of our dealer partners and employees. We are proud to announce our recommitment to our local communities, and the non-profits that truly make a difference in peoples’ lives, each and every day.”
In its fifth year of the Mazda Drive for Good program, Mazda will collaborate with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and the Mazda Foundation (USA), Inc. on a national level, and 42 community non-profit organizations across the country. See below for a complete list of partner organizations. In addition to the monetary donations, MNAO employees and dealer partners will continue to provide hands-on assistance to individual charities and causes they feel passionate about, in their local communities.
Mazda established the Mazda Drive for Good charitable program as a way to give back to the communities in which it does business. Since its launch in 2013, the Mazda Drive for Good program has donated more than $18.4 million, has pledged more than 263,000 charitable service hours and continues to provide monetary donations and community service throughout the year.
