To further celebrate the fluid duality in which Mexican-Americans move between their Mexican and American worlds, Tecate has strategically timed the two-day event to take place during the Labor Day weekend and just ahead of Mexican Independence Day (September 16th) – two significant moments for each culture.

“From great tasting, full-flavored beers to sports such as soccer and boxing, we know what our audience loves, and deliver products and experiences that immerse our consumers 21 and older in these passions,” said Gustavo Guerra, brand director for Tecate. “This two-day celebration with Chivas is our way of saying thank you to our loyal audience, while paying homage to their Mexican-American heritage.”

This match-up between Chivas and Club Leon is the fifth and final soccer preseason game brought to consumers by Tecate this summer. Others included Chivas matches against Club Atlas, Club Pachuca and Rayados de Monterrey. Tickets for this upcoming game, which will be organized and produced by Pazzo Sports, will be available from noon PDT today here.
