Mazda Reports August Sales Results

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported total August sales of 34,735 vehicles, a decrease of 8.9 percent compared to August 2025. Year-to-date sales totaled 275,749 vehicles sold; a decrease of 6 percent compared to the same time last year. With 26 selling days in August compared to 27 the year prior, the company posted a decrease of 5.4 percent on a Daily Selling Rate (DSR) basis.
CPO sales totaled 7,164 vehicles in August; a decrease of .7 percent compared to August 2025.
Sales highlights include:
- Best-ever August sales for CX-70 MHEV
- Best-ever August sales for Mazda3 Sedan
Mazda Canada, Inc., (MCI) reported August sales of 7,592 vehicles, a decrease of 8.2 percent compared to August last year. Year-to-date sales totaled 49,694 vehicles sold; a decrease of 11.3 percent compared to the same time last year.
Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) reported August sales of 9,258 vehicles, an increase of 17 percent compared to August last year. Year-to-date sales totaled 70,115 vehicles sold; an increase of 4 percent compared to same time last year.
