NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — After empowering PepsiCo’s workforce with in-person and telecast keynotes in 2018, triple Daytime EMMY-winner and bestselling author Gaby Natale has renewed and expanded her partnership with the Purchase, NY-based company.

“We at PepsiCo are very excited to join forces again with Gaby Natale. She embodies the spirit of the Hispanic and Latino culture – making great contributions that many can be proud of. We look forward to continuing to build authentic connections for the Latinx community through this partnership,” said Marissa Solis, Vice President and General Manager of the Hispanic Business Unit, PepsiCo North America Beverages.

As part of this year’s collaboration, Natale’s role involved emceeing PepsiCo’s Hispanic Growth Summit featuring chart-topping sensation CNCO at the Telemundo Studios in Miami, moderating their “Reshaping the Mainstream” event at the Viacom global headquarters in Times Square and delivering a keynote presentation to energize PepsiCo’s workforce at the company’s White Plains headquarters in New York.

“At this point in my career, partnering with a brand that it is truly committed to empowering Latinx is not only a priority but a precondition. PepsiCo is one of those brands. The fact that they put all their muscle to bring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira to helm the first all-Latina Super Bowl halftime show in history was further confirmation that our missions are aligned,” said Natale.

Natale’s partnership with PepsiCo is the latest in a series of collaborations that the SuperLatina has launched as part of a concerted effort by her company, AGANARmedia, to elevate Latino voices through empowerment programs and conferences. Some of her most recent collaborations include Century 21’s Empowering Latinas program, TurboTax, Univision’s Posible Business Expo, St Jude and Sprint Latino among others.

About Gaby Natale and AGANARmedia

Gaby Natale is a triple Daytime EMMY® winner, TV personality, bestselling author and motivational speaker. She is the executive producer and host of the nationally-syndicated TV show SuperLatina on PBS’ Vme network.

One of the most prestigious media personalities in Spanish-language television, Natale is among a few women in the entertainment industry who owns not only the rights to her TV show but also a television studio. This unique situation has allowed her to combine her passion for media and her entrepreneurial spirit.

People magazine named Natale one of 2018’s “25 Most Powerful Latinas,” highlighting the inspirational story of how she went from a local TV show that started out of a carpet warehouse to becoming the only Latina in US history to win triple back-to-back Daytime EMMYs. Her popularity grew even further when her first book, “The Virtuous Circle” by HarperCollins, became an instant bestseller, topping Amazon’s New Releases charts in 3 different categories (Business, Inspiration and Self-Help).

Natale is also the founder of AGANARmedia, a marketing company with a focus on Hispanic audiences that serves Fortune 500 companies such as Hilton Worldwide, Sprint, AT&T, eBay and Amazon. For the first time in campaign history, Thanks and Giving co-founders, Marlo and Tony Thomas – children of founder Danny Thomas – will be featured together in the series of television and digital spots alongside St. Jude patients encouraging people to support St. Jude while shopping throughout the holiday season.

Additional St. Jude celebrity friends – including The Game Theorists MatPat and Stephanie Patrick, recent star of The Bachelor Colton Underwood, Grammy Award-winning gospel music artist Kirk Franklin, actresses JoAnna Garcia and Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Latin rock duo Rio Roma, chef and television personality Adrianne Calvo, and YouTube beauty creators Jackie Aina and Shalom Blacwill appear in online videos calling on fans to join them in showing support and raising awareness for the hospital’s lifesaving work.

“The St. Jude Thanks and Giving season is a time of year near and dear to my heart, when we can all come together to support the beautiful and brave children and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” said Jennifer Aniston. “St. Jude is an incredible place of hope – a place that helps children who are going through something that no child or family should ever have to go through. And no family pays St. Jude for anything. Please join me this holiday season, to help make a difference in the lives of these precious children.”

Now in its 16th year, the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign has transformed the holiday season into a time of giving thanks and raising awareness. Thanks to the support of holiday shoppers, corporate partners and celebrity ambassadors, the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign raises critical funds to continue the ongoing battle to end childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Throughout November and December, consumers are asked to support the campaign by shopping at more than 60 leading national brands. Celebrity friends will also support St. Jude throughout the campaign by spreading the word and sharing what they #GiveThanks for, and asking their fans and followers to do the same.

“Our dedicated and loving celebrity friends are coming together once again to support the Thanks and Giving campaign and the lifesaving mission of St. Jude,” said Marlo Thomas, National Outreach Director for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “Their kindness and devotion to this campaign is essential in raising the awareness and critical funds needed to help children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. And their inspiration also helps rally support from goodhearted donors across the county which helps ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything – not for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Together, we are giving hope to families everywhere.”

The national television commercials featuring Jennifer Aniston, Sofia Vergara, Michael Strahan, Luis Fonsi and Brad Paisley will run through the end of 2019 on network and cable television channels, as well as online, in both English and Spanish.

All of the spots, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, will debut online this week.

Created in 2004 by Marlo, Terre and Tony Thomas — children of St. Jude founder Danny Thomas — the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign began as a holiday-focused fundraising effort and has grown into an annual tradition that unites celebrities, media, retail and corporate partners to support the lifesaving mission of St Jude. While Tony Thomas has produced the campaign’s celebrity videos behind the scenes for the past 15 years, this year he is stepping in front of the camera for the first time ever to star in a segment with his sister Marlo.

Celebrity spots are available to view here.

Additional Celebrity Quotes:

“I am so proud to be a part of the St. Jude family and have the chance to spend time with these amazing kids who are the strongest people I have ever met and have so much joy,” said Michael Strahan. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a great place. The families never receive a bill for anything. And the research, the treatment and all the things that are discovered are shared worldwide. St. Jude allows a child the opportunity to have hope and that’s more valuable than anything.”

“It’s an honor for me to give my time to raising awareness to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s mission of finding cures and saving children,” said Sofia Vergara. “I love spending time with the courageous children. Their positivity and strength is unmatched. Please join me this holiday season and give hope to children in communities across America and around the world that benefit from the lifesaving research and treatment done every day at St. Jude. Together, we can help end childhood cancer.”

“I’m inspired each and every day by the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and I’m honored to once again join them for St. Jude Thanks and Giving, as they continue working to find a cure for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases,” said Luis Fonsi. “Because of supporters around the world, St. Jude is able to freely share the discoveries it makes, which means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.”

“The country music community has always rallied around the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and this holiday season I hope you’ll join us in helping these incredible families during the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign,” said Brad Paisley. “St. Jude is committed to continuing ’til a cure is found for childhood cancer. And no family pays St. Jude for anything – giving them the ability to concentrate on their child without financial worry. The refreshed 2020 Honda CR-V, an updated take on America’s most popular crossover, begins arriving in dealerships tomorrow with a refreshed exterior design, new and upgraded features, and a new turbocharged powertrain for the popular LX trim, along with standard Honda Sensing® technologies on all grades. With cumulative U.S. sales now topping the 5-million-unit mark, the 2020 model looks to extend CR-V’s position as the best-selling crossover in America over the past 22 years.

TORRANCE, California, Nov. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — The refreshed 2020 Honda CR-V, an updated take on America’s most popular crossover, begins arriving in dealerships tomorrow with a refreshed exterior design, new and upgraded features, and a new turbocharged powertrain for the popular LX trim, along with standard Honda Sensing® technologies on all grades.

The 2020 CR-V goes on sale with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price starting at $25,0501 (excluding destination and handling charges) for the front-wheel-drive LX model, an increase of just $600 despite the addition of Honda Sensing and a more powerful and efficient 1.5-liter turbocharged engine to the LX trim. An all-new, even more powerful and fuel-efficient hybrid-electric CR-V will join the lineup early next year.

All 2020 CR-Vs benefit from new front and rear exterior styling cues, including a redesigned front bumper and grille, and new headlight designs. EX and EX-L trims also get redesigned alloy wheels, while Touring grades get new 19-inch (+1 in.) wheels and tires. The 2020 model also debuts three new exterior colors: Radiant Red Metallic, Sonic Gray Pearl, and Aegean Blue Pearl.

Inside, CR-V’s spacious and tech-savvy cabin gets a redesigned center console with more conveniently located USB ports and more flexible storage space, while the line-topping CR-V Touring adds a heated steering wheel and wireless smartphone charging.

Mechanically, the biggest change to the 2020 CR-V is the addition of the 1.5-liter turbocharged direct-injected engine for the popular LX trim, which replaces a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated engine. For the LX, this means more power (+6 horsepower), a flatter torque curve (179 lb.-ft. @ 2000-5000 rpm vs. 180 lb.-ft. @ 3900 rpm) and a higher EPA fuel economy rating (+2 mpg city/highway/combined).

Importantly, the CR-V LX also gets Honda Sensing® safety and driver-assistive technologies as standard equipment, extending these popular features throughout the CR-V lineup.

SOPHISTICATED EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR STYLING
The 2020 Honda CR-V’s more upscale and distinctive presence comes courtesy of a new blackout grille, and broad new openings for the fog lights. Touring trims also get new chrome exhaust finishers. Three new exterior colors come to the CR-V—Sonic Gray Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, and Aegean Blue Pearl—expanding to eight the number of color choices available for CR-V.

Inside, all 2020 Honda CR-Vs get a redesigned center console that is easier to use, with more flexible storage options, while CR-V Touring trims now come standard with Qi-compatible wireless cell phone charging. The 2020 CR-V also incorporates the latest generation of Honda’s proprietary Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure and targets the highest collision safety ratings. These include a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)3 and a TOP SAFETY PICK rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), including a SUPERIOR rating for frontal crash prevention with Honda Sensing.
